LeRoy Wolfe

LeRoy Wolfe, 83 of Lisbon, died August 14, 2014, in Dubuque. LeRoys funeral will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Morgan Funeral Choices, Mount Vernon. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m. until the service. LeRoy will be buried next to his wife Dorothy in Lisbon Cemetery. Survivors are his children: Deanna (Douglas) Brennan, Dubuque, Michael (Michele), Sioux City, Timothy (Kathryn), Blaine, Minnesota, and Lorrie (Bill) Anderson, of Lisbon. LeRoy is also survived by his grandchildren: Robert, Deborah, Emily, William, Timothy, Kaitlynn, Aaron, Kimberly, and Kelly; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters; and one brother. LeRoy was preceded in death by his beloved wife Dorothy. LeRoy was born November 27, 1930, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Gerald and Alice Coleson Wolfe. He married Dorothy Overton July 18, 1953 in Cedar Rapids. He retired from Evergreen Packaging. LeRoy was often seen with his wife Dorothy while he worked at Langes Sinclair for 35 years. He was also a beautician working along-side Dorothy in their Salon, Dorothys Hairdressers in Mt. Vernon. LeRoy was a member of Lisbon United Methodist Church for many years, and belonged to the Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of the UAW Union. A memorial fund has been established.
