My heart aches for the loss of such a great person. When we first met, Laurie wasn’t sure of the newcomer to Palo. Years passed and we became better, and better friends. Playing cards with Laurie was one of my favorite memories, we played into the wee hours of the morning and she would journal in her scoring book, as to the events of the day also. I think she cheated while always scorekeeping, since she won so frequently…or maybe she was just a better player😏. Lol I will miss our card playing and many numerous times and stories we made together. Mostly, I will just plain miss her. I smile when I think of all the things we have done together. Forever your friend.
Oh Lu Lu. What an adventure growing up next to you. The 1st girls weekend riding in the car I will never forget! I love all the years we were able to have that. I will miss you! Now you can to be your dad and my mom and party with them. Till we meet again Hansen🍻
Laurie and I went through grade School together kindergarten through 6th grade! We are cousins. And then we had met each other as adults several times! Untill we meet again you will be greatly missed!
I’ve known Laurie my entire life, we went to school together. Rest In Peace my friend. Prayers for your family in this difficult time. Love you.
I have known Laurie it seems like forever. I had her as my babysitter for my four kids. The kids just loved her. Only I remember once when my son Dan got mad at her and locked her out of the house. Laurie called me at work and was frantic. I told her not to worry, call my mom and my mom came to rescue her and took the problem child home with her. Laurie and I laughed about that a lot. I will miss you lady. We had fun talks and time together. Love you girl!!!!
Laurie was my grandmother. Grandma Laurie I love you and miss you
