  1. We are deeply sorry for your loss ~ Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services – Cedar Rapids

  2. I worked at a pharmacy that supplied meds to Northbrook, and that was my first interaction with Ken. I would hear his voice and I knew he would share something that would make me laugh. When it came time to place my mother in a care facility we chose Northbrook. I knew how he cared for his patients along with some of our other favorite staff from there. I am saddened by his loss. He spoke of you Steve, and his family aloft, You didn’t feel like strangers when he spoke of you. I’m so glad we had the opportunity to meet a guy like Ken. Even with this sad news, I smile when I think of him. He was special.

  3. I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Ken He was a light in this world, he brought laughter and kindness to many He enjoyed the older people and tried tp bring them comfort and dignity in their time of need

  4. I was heartbroken to hear of Kenny’s passing. I was privileged to work with Kenny at Northbrook Manor and at Unity Point Hospital( St Luke’s). We were close friends and I will always cherish our friendship. Kenny was a friend to many and was a caring and compassionate person who was an expert gardener and decorator. He advised and helped some of us who didn’t have a creative bone in our bodies. I send my deepest sympathy to all of his wonderful family and to Steve. I will miss Kenny but I’m so grateful I had him for a dear friend. May he rest in peace. Jeanne Froelich
