  1. We are deeply sorry for your loss ~ Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services – Cedar Rapids

  2. Keith first came into my life 36 years ago when I married his sister, we went to his house in Littleton for Thanksgiving that year and I knew then he was someone very special . We have done so many projects together over the years from taking on the house project there in Cedar Rapids to taking down trees. No project was too big for him to take on. Even if it took all summer . Till we meet again brother I will treasure the time we had together. Jim caster.

  3. Keith was fun. Though I didn’t get to see him very much while in Texas. When I would see him out was like not much time had passed.
If I had a problem and he could help, he would.
The times I remember most with Keith were when Mom, Dad and I lived in Kellogg. We stayed at Aunt Hester and Uncle Jerry’s house for at least a month before we could move into our house.
Sometimes I went with Keith on his paper route.
We often went roller skating in Newton. To Keith it was a “speed skating” rink. Even when he skated over his hand and had to have a few stitches (at least that’s what he said) he didn’t let that stop him from doing it again.
We all took a trip to Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. He tried to get me to race motorcycles with him. But I got him down to go- carts. We lapped my Dad so many times.
I’ll miss his quiet smile and laugh. Love you Keith. R.I.P.

(These photos only show a few of the good times with you.)

    Love, Annette

  4. Keith was a cousin whom I was privileged to grow up with. So many wonderful memories from birthdays with homemade ice cream . To Christmas eves together and Christmas meals. Snowed in days , no school, and sledding together. Going to the state fair watching him and sister Jayne win a goldfish to take home . With them sleeping on either side of me while I held the fish bowls in the car ride home. Since we all lived in small town of Kellogg, we were privileged to share so much.
I will hold these in my heart all the precious memories in my heart!
I always see him as a bright shinning eye, smiling and happy man. Who loved his family and friends!!❤️

  5. I’ve known Keith for around 20 years, he was my #1 plumber, he took pride in doing it right and it looking good for every job, we didn’t hangout other than working together, but I miss him already and take good pride in knowing him, rest in peace buddy you were a heck of a man, your friend Alger Construction Barry Alger

  6. I spent a wonderful afternoon with my cousin, Keith, just a few weeks ago and I was hoping for more times. We both had happy tears in our eyes from exchanging back in the day memories of times with Grandpa and our Dads.

Keith had a generous heart. Quite often, when chatting with one of my aunts or cousins after some household crisis, they would tell me that Keith had came down and fixed it.

My Mom had trouble forgiving Keith for youthful indiscretions. It took the wrathful, act of God, deracho storm in Cedar Rapids for her to finally agree to give Keith a call. Even though he was dealing with deracho damage of his own, Keith met me at Mom’s to help access her damage and help me arrange repairs with a trusted contractor that he had worked with. I am grateful.

  7. Dad you taught me a lot about life and was the best dad and papa in this world. You where my father, best friend and the most important man that I looked up to for knowledge and wisdom. Thank you for all the good memories we shared together. I’ll never forget all the time we spent together building the house and garage together and all the people that would come and help us,gor, strad , Bill, and a few others. You are truly missed and will always be in my heart tell we meet again Dad. I’m lost with out you and I miss talking to you every day dad! I know you are watching over me still. Love you Dad, your son John.
