Kathryn A. Harris

Kathryn Alice Harris, 93, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, December 20, 2014, in Heritage Nursing & Rehab, Cedar Rapids. Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. Christopher Podhajsky. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the mass at the church. Private family burial: Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Survivors include her daughter, Linda (Larry) McVay; 14 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two brothers, Don (Arlene) Lane and Bill (Dorothy) Lane; and many nieces and nephews. Kathryn was born April 12, 1921, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Ralph and Mary (Kelsh) Lane. On June 20, 1942, she married James E. Harris. Kathryn was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, where she was baptized, confirmed, had first communion, graduated, and was married. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E.
