John William Weltz III, 56, of Marion, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 9, 2016 at home. There will be no services.
John was born August 24, 1959, to John and Peggy (Meireis) Weltz Jr., in Culver City, California.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa; mother, Peggy Nixon; step-son, Rick Derby; sister, Tammi Weltz; brother Robby Weltz; and many extended family members.

I have many memories of my nephew Johnnie, from when I was his baby sitter in Hawthorne, California to his days as a youth. His life was short and I know he is being greeted and comforted by his grandma and other family members who have preceded him.
