He graduated high school through Kirkwood Community College, then began work for Smith Massman, then Landscape by Design with Bryan Hughes, and later began his own company, Conley Concrete. He enjoyed anything outside and was a great outdoorsman, including hunting'especially bow hunting, fishing, boating, and archery. John was an ambitious, honest, hard-working, selfless, well-respected, and well-liked man. He was a man of few words, always on the go, and was down for anything his family and friends asked him to join in on, especially if it included Busch Light. He sincerely valued his beloved family. John was a man to be proud of, a wonderful and cherished husband and father, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael; uncles, Patrick Moore, Dan Conley, and Tim Conley; and grandparents. The family would like to extend a grateful thank you to the agencies, friends, and community members that assisted in the search and recovery of John.
