Jerry Smith

Jerry Smith, 73, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. There will be no services. Survivors include his children, Joshua Smith, and Mary (Chris) Chrisman; step-daughter, Shelly Marquette (Spencer); 3 grandchildren; sisters, Marcia (Bill) Conrad, and Nancie Smith; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Jerry was born May 22, 1943, to Lloyd and Maxine (Midkiff) Smith. He was a lifetime roofer. Jerry enjoyed the outdoors, and spending time with his beloved family. He was trustworthy and dependable, and was a jokester. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Richard and Shirley.
