Jeffery Allen Hanover, 58, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023, in Cedar Rapids. Memorial Service are pending arrangements. Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services of Cedar Rapids is caring for Jeff's family.
Jeff is survived by a daughter, Kayla Hanover of Newark, Ohio; four siblings, Robin DeWald, Randy Hanover, Jeannie Blumer, Bill Hanover; and other relatives and friends.
Jeff Allen, the son of Henry M. and Alyce D. DeWald Hanover, was born April 18, 1964, in Cedar Rapids. He grew up in Cedar Rapids, where he attended school. Jeff worked as a Master Plumber throughout his life. The family fondly remembers Jeff's love for spending time in Colorado, especially with his daughter, Kayla. Jeff was a fan of the Denver Broncos and Iowa Hawkeyes and loved to watch NASCAR.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents.

My sincere condolences to Jeff’s family. I knew Jeff through his visits to the library. He was always kind and fun to visit with. We shared lots of stories about Colorado. I am very sorry for your loss. I hope that your memories of good times spent together will bring you comfort in the days ahead.
