Janann Wilson

Janann Wilson, 92, of Cedar Rapids, died on Sunday, May 17, 2015. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. David Beckman. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the mass at the church with a rosary beginning at 9:30 a.m. Burial: Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements are with Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids. Survivors include nine nieces and nephews; 25 great nieces and nephews; and six great great nieces and nephews. Janann was born October 8, 1922, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Clifford and Florence (McNamara) Wilson. She was a graduate of the Mt. Mercy Academy. Janann worked at Harper McIntyre as the office manager. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Mary Lou Franey, Patt Gamsky, and Jerry McCarthy. Memorials are suggested to Mt. Mercy University, Metro Catholic Outreach, or St. Matthew Catholic Church.
