Date line Lisbon: James Owen "Jim" White 57 of Lisbon died Saturday April 21, 2007 in Cedar Rapids from an apparent heart attack. Services 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices, Mount Vernon Chapel by Pastor Kathy Moore. Friends may call Tuesday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., in the chapel. Burial in Lisbon Cemetery. Jim is survived by his wife Rose Marie, a son Nicholas in Lisbon, and a daughter Rachael and partner Danielle of Cedar Rapids, one sister Janet (Drew) Washburn of Parker, Colorado, and one brother John and wife of Anamosa. He is also survived by his father James A. White of Anamosa, and his cat Taffy. Jim was preceded in death by his mother. Jim was born August 25, 1949 in Anamosa the first son of James and Elfrieda Wehling White. He graduated from Anamosa High School in 1968, and married Rose Marie Parks, June 12, 1982 in Danville, Illinois. James was a welder for fifteen years and most recently employed by U.S. Security of Cedar Rapids. Jim enjoyed fishing, watching trains, and antiques.
