Ida Benter, of Cedar Rapids, passed away after a short illness with her family by her side on June 13, 2012. As per her wishes there will be no service or visitation as she donated her body to the University of Iowa. She is survived by four sons, Howard (Shirley) Cole, Larry Cole, Gary (Tracy) Cole, and Roger Cole, all of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory are suggested to St. Luke's Hospice.
