Helen Pottebaum 63, of Mechanicsville, died Monday, June 18, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids due to renal failure. A visitation for Helen will be 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices Mount Vernon. Surviving Helen are her daughter Michele Pottebaum and granddaughter Christina Foister both of Mechanicsville. Preceding Helen in death was her son Jason Pottebaum. Helen collected anything Mickey Mouse and loved her cats. She loved cooking and watching movies with her family. Memorials in Helen's honor may be sent to c/o Michele Pottebaum, P. O. Box 163, Mechanicsville, IA 52306.
