Dear Aunt Ruth Anne,
I have many memories of Geri that I will always cherish. She was a precious young girl who turned into an amazing young lady. Here zest for life and love of sports and Donnie and Marie Osmond will forever remain an admiring memory of mine. May the joy and love that she shared with so many people live on. Keep your chin up and let the inspiration that Geri instilled in you keep you strong.
Aunt Ruth Ann,
Hope it helps to know that so many are thinking of you and sending their prayers. Geri was truly a “character”. In love with Steve Alford for awhile and also Whitney Houston. She always remembered everyone’s names and delighted in calling our oldest son Nick “Thorty” (Shorty)when he was little. She will be missed!
Dear Ruth,
My deepest sympathy to you .
Gerilyn was truly a gift to me. I alwaus looked forward to picking her up to go to St. Wenc for religion class.
She has such a wonderful smile and such a loving heart. I’ve always considered her one of my heros.
I can’t be there tonight but will be able to attend the
funeral Mass tomorrow.
Ruth Anne-
I will miss Geri and her unending knowledge. No matter how hard I tried to stump her on information, she would always correct me and tell me, “your’re crazy!” Geri, “thank you for everything you gave me.” Ruth Anne, “you were a wonderful mother to her and gift to each other.”
Geri was one of my favorite students. She was in my classroom my first day of my first year as a teacher! She always started the day with a positive attitude and was a ray of sunshine. I remember coaching her during Special Olympics. She never gave up!
