In Loving Memory of George Raymond Bounds, It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Bounds, a beloved brother, nephew, friend, and protector, who left us on January 26, 2025, at the age of 54. George's kindness and caring nature were unmatched, and his quiet strength brought comfort to all who knew him. Though shy by nature, his presence spoke volumes'his smile alone could light up any room and brighten even the darkest days. George will always be remembered for the way he made those around him feel valued and safe. A loyal friend and a devoted brother, he lived with a gentle heart and a steadfast spirit. Those fortunate enough to know him will carry the memory of his kindness and his unwavering support forever. George is survived by his loving sisters, Rochell Smith (Boswell) and Michelle Witham (Bounds); four-legged companion Bella; son; his godson; many aunts and uncles; tons of cousins; and his nieces and nephews who will forever cherish his memory.He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father, William Love; mother, Ruby Boswell (Bounds); stepfather, William Boswell; and his uncles and cousins whose love and guidance shaped the compassionate man he became. George's legacy of love and compassion lives on in the hearts of his family and friends, who were blessed to share in his life. Though we are heartbroken by his loss, we take comfort in knowing his light will continue to shine through the countless lives he touched.

  2. George Bounds was my student while at Harding Junior High. He was both honest and forthright and always accepted consequences when he did something wrong. He stood out and I deeply appreciated him.

    I tried to stay in touch over the years and just today discovered his passing. I had longed for the day he would visit me as a free man. Now, it appears I will meet him in another place. Godspeed George Bounds . . . I believed in you till the very end.
