Evelyn Marie Frondle, 76, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, September 8, 2011, at Heritage Nursing & Rehab. Graveside Services: 3 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, by Reverend Dan Wiersema. Arrangements by Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids. Survivors include her children, Steve (Shirley Bradford) Frondle, LeRoy Frondle, Linda Woodford, Laurie (Steve) Kramer, Barbara (Jerry Hollenbeck) Frondle, and David Morris; former husband, Orville Frondle; six siblings; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Evelyn was born November 27, 1934, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Paul and Sarah Margaret (Murry) Bice. She had a great passion for her family, including those she 'adopted' as her own. She was preceded in death by her parents; 12 siblings; and a great grandson, Keith. A special thank you to the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House and to Kay from Hospice of Mercy for the care and compassion provided to Evelyn.

We have lost a very special,caring, loving lady.Ma opened her heart and her home to me when I needed it most.Ma never asked for anything for herself.She was always there, ready to listen to you or give a hug! She would kick your butt if needed and then tell you how much she loved you! Ma you were the best friend and mother to many and loved by all . May you rest in peace. Love forever, Terry
