  2. Beth was my friend. I met her when she started frequenting my thrift store, and a friendship blossomed. She was an accomplished realtor for many years. A lover of the arts and art. She often took friends to the Old Creamery Theatre in Amana. She loved the artist DeGrazia, and collected as many paintings as she could find. She hosted trips, and enjoyed lunch with the ladies. Always dressed in perfectly matching outfits, with not a hair out of place. She lost her beautiful daughter Denise, and her beloved dachshund Rosie, in a very short period, and never really recovered. Her grandchildren were everything to her. When she was placed in the care center, I took her dogs, Sammie & Annie, promising her they would always stay together. And I hope she will come to visit them, and see they are well cared for, and that I kept my promise. My only regret is how little time I spent with her the last couple of years, as I’m dealing with my own mother’s dementia, and my husband’s many health issues. But I was honored to know her, and be included in her circle. Fly high my friend.
