  2. Growing up as neighbors on the farm, I have a lot of memories of Doris. Especially carpooling to Business School in Burlington.

I know Jerry and her entire family will miss her terribly but I also know she had a deep faith in God. Sending prayers for peace and comfort, knowing she’s in the arms of Jesus. God’s blessings always.

  3. doris and Jerry lived across the street from Mom for a while. One day Doris came to Mom with a sewing needle stuck in her finger and needed Mom to pull it out. It was a traumatic event for both of them., Neither one of them forgot the experience! Bless you, Doris, for all the kindness shown to Mom and the memories we all share. Lynne Oberman Chapman

  8. Jerry and Doris always welcomed me and the International students from Cornel and she was always in prayer for them. She will be missed and yet is in the arms of Jesus now with no memory or physical problems anymore.

  9. I have known Doris since my childhood. After we got married in March of 1975, Jerry and Doris lived in Annawan and attended church with us at Bradford. He and Gary taught Sunday School together. After they moved back to Iowa, we often saw them at funerals and visitations through the years. Prayers to the family, especially to Jerry and her sisters.

  10. Aunt Doris is up in heaven with my mom. So sorry we couldn’t be there to celebrate her life with you. You have our sympathies.
