Burial: Mount Vernon Memorial Cemetery. Casual dress is appropriate for Diana's services.
Survivors include husband, Howard Gollobit; daughter, Gabrielle Stoner (Brad); mother-in-law, Doris Gollobit; sisters, Joyce Almquist (Wally), Julie Gollobit, Lori Trottier, and Angela Phelps (Vic); beloved grandchildren, Samuel and Maciann Stoner; and special furry family members, Daisy the dog, and Chico the horse.
Diana was born February 17, 1953, the daughter of John and Shirley Walton, formerly of Mount Vernon. Diana had a love of the outdoors especially tending to her many bountiful gardens and beautiful flowers. She was known for her beautiful long black hair usually swept into a side pony tail. Diana was a fantastic cook, nobody would pass up a meal at her house. We often joked that she was her grandchildren's short order cook, always making their favorites.
Preceding her in death was father, John Walton; mother, Shirley Walton; sisters, Isla Jean and Pam Johnston; and father-in-law, Howard "Slim" Gollobit Sr.
Memorials may be directed to the family in care of Gabrielle Stoner.

They say this is the sound that was made when the world was first born. It seems appropriate for someone who so loved to be so close to the earth in everything she did! Love you both
So sorry for your loss. What a beautiful wonderful loving fun friend to have had. Love and sadness
