Debra Palmer

Debra Faye Palmer, 61, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Saturday, January 21, 2023, at her home in Cedar Rapids. A private burial will be held at Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion, Iowa.Debra was born on June 17, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Larry Garman and Marlene (Stewart) Garman. She grew up in Cedar Rapids and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1979. Debra enjoyed doing various arts and crafts projects, antiques, and decorating her homes in Victorian style. She loved Jesus and spoke of him often.Debra is survived by her parents; three children, Shellice (William) Stephens, Devin Palmer, and Adam Palmer; eight brothers and sisters, Joyce (Antonio) Pacas, David (Tamra) Garman, Teresa (Kurt) Grigg, Lawrence Garman, Marianne (Ron) Moody, Jeff (Kim) Garman, Greg (Amy) Garman, and Rebecca (Vadim) Vorobtsov; her four grandchildren, Gaige, Gavin, and Garrett Stephens, and Kielynn Palmer; and many nieces and nephews.
