Debbie Jackson, 56, of Marion, died on Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Memorial Services: 6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, with visitation from 4-6 p.m. Private burial: Oak Shade Cemetery. Survivors include her daughter, Tiffany (Josh) Bauer of England; granddaughter, Laura; siblings, Alice McCormick of Marion, Jerry (Marilyn) Findlay of Troy Mills, and Denise (Brad) Willhite of Cedar Rapids; and many loving nieces and nephews. Debbie was born May 20, 1958, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of George and Laura (Munn) Jackson. She graduated from Marion High School in 1976. Debbie worked most recently for General Dynamics. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, reading, and was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins as her cats were named, Marino and Elway. She will be remembered for her generous heart and sharing her love of the nature with the jewelry she made from the rocks she collected during her time spent outdoors. She especially loved her time in the mountains of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, Larry McCormick. Memorials are suggested to Cedar Rapids Animal Care & Control.

  7. Debbie we became Cyber Sisters many years ago along with Barb. We shared laughs, tears, friendship the loss of loved ones and the arrival and celebration of new lives. You will always have a special place in my heart and will never be forgotten. To Tiffany and all your family I send healing, love and prayers at this time and just know that this wonderful loving lady will certainly be missed by all whose lives she touched. I read all the beautiful things people have wrote you and that is a person with a beautiful soul and so many friends. R.I.P Debbie, i only met you when you came to California in 2010, it was nice to get a chance to meet you and it was great to talk and get to know each other through Facebook, i am gonna miss our conversations i still can’t believe you arw gone, just constantly get the urge to message you, i guess it just hasn’t completely sunken in yet.R.I.P Debbie you are so truly missed.
