Thank you everyone for your kind words. I have been blessed with over 57 years of memories. He was loved so very much and will be missed terribly.
This man was my inspiration. He always encouraged me to chase my dreams. There were no limits to what I could accomplish according to him. He picked me up and dusted me off when I failed, and let me know that you can’t win if you don’t play. He loved us deeply and we loved him. His was a life well lived. We will carry him with us always.

Jean, Kim, and Annette I am so sorry for your loss. So many memories of my time spent at the Martin home. My favorites were the play by play of our basketball games when I would join your family after we finished a junior high game. I especially remember the 9th grade game, Roosevelt Rough Riders vs Taft tigers, where we double teamed one of their forwards to beat them. Kim, your dad was so proud of us. Sending love Lisa Wesbrook Staude
