David Edward Santee, 68, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, June 5, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. A memorial service will be held at a later date. He was born September 6, 1946, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Donald and Lucille (Steggall) Santee. David is survived by his brothers, James (Tammy), Dennis (Ada), and Jack (Deb); sister, Marilea; his wife of over 45 years, Charlotte Schatz; and many nieces, nephews, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Robert and Donald, and sisters, Linda and Diane.
