Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My deepest condolences to the family. I have a lot of memories as a kid hanging out with my dad “Oly” and Tiny Moe. Great guy that will be remembered by so many. Rest in Paradise Tiny ❤

    • Met Dan when he was still a kid. Fresh out of high school Dan started at Wilson’s in the Ham Boning Dept. in the summer of 1976. Dan made friends naturally and almost immediately became “one of the guys” on second shift. He and I became fast friends. To Matt, Chris, Katey and their families I offer my heartfelt sympathies. Dan and I stayed friends even after Wilson’s closed but I lost contact with Dan after moving to OH in 2001. He was invited to my daughters wedding and that is the last time I saw him. I am deeply saddened by his passing, Dan loved life as much as anyone I know and always enjoyed it to the fullest. The world has lost a truly good guy,

  2. I am so saddened to read of Tiny Moe’s passing! He was such a wonderful guy and loved by everyone whoever met him. I will always treasure the wonderful memories. Rest in Peace, my friend! <3 <3

  3. My condolences and prays to your family! We’ve lost a great long time neighbor! I’ll miss him waving as he was coming home! Always had a friendly smile!❤️

  4. My deepest condolences. Dan will forever be remembered as a great story teller of his past. Always enjoyed working with him. And yes Dan ,I’m sure that scale is accurate 🙂

  5. Chris, Randy and family, I’m so very sorry for your loss. I know you have fun memories of him, always hold them close and remember the fun times with him. Hugs and sympathy, Ed and Annamae

  6. Holding you all in my head and my heart at this difficult time. Treasure all the smiles and laughter he brought to your lives and those of anyone who met him. Rest in Peace, Tiny Moe

  7. Big Dan!!! You have been my neighbor for 30 yrs & of course forever before that to Don. You told me stories of watching Jon & Jeff when they were boys… After Don was gone you would bring your big old end loader over and clear my driveway of the snow. Always the look of Grizzly Adams, I had no idea what you looked like w/o a beard. You will be missed as you were always the guy that would do the big smile & wave when driving by…… R.I.P. Big Dan! – Di Neal

  8. My sympathies to your family at this time of deep sorrow. Death of a loved one brings great sadness but our Heavenly Father promises us that he will bring us comfort at Romans 15:5. I hope that family, friends and your memories will bring you a measure of peace and calm.

  9. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your loved one. In the Bible, a man named Job raised the question: “If an able-bodied man dies can he live again?” Then he answered: “I shall wait [in the grave] until my relief comes. [God] will call, and I myself shall answer.” (Job 14:14, 15) What a joy it will be when that time arrives and the dead are reunited with their loved ones! “What happens when you die”, Find the Bible’s answers to this question at jw.org.
