  3. Aunt Cora will always be remembered as a loving person with the sweetest smile and a wonderful laugh. Loved her dearly.

  4. Aunt Cora was a beautiful example of steadfast love for our Lord, even in trials and pain! I so appreciated her Christ-like example in the small things and in the big things! Despite her trials, pain, and situation, she was a wonderful example of where our hope and trust need to be placed! Her giving of herself to foster kids, children, and family is a spurring on to good works for all who witnessed her life!! I pray that I will show such faith and steadfast love to those in my sphere!! She would visit my baby brother’s graveside every year to place a memorial, that meant so much to our family! I wish that I had lived in closer approximation in my adult life to experience more, rather than just hearing and knowing of your good works. It is of great peace to me that without a doubt I know that we will be together forever with our Lord!! I pray that during any difficult day that her friends and family will feel HIS peace that passes understanding and will be flooded with beautiful memories of her!!

  5. My aunt Cora was the best. I always knew that no matter what she loved me. If it went for her and my grandma praying for me I believe I would not be here today. I am so glad that I had the change to come home and see her. I will always be grateful for her being in my life. I will miss you so much and I will see you again when it my turn to go home to Jesus. Thank you for everything Auntie

  6. Cora will always have a special place in my heart. So thankful for the privilege of having known such a fun, kind, generous, thoughtful, lady. Your dear family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Love you all!💕 Jill Huerter

  7. I am broken hearted at learning of the passing of Cora. She has been on my mind so much the past several days….She was so much fun and we have had a lot of laughs over the years. She is so special and an icon in Mt. Vernon, everyone knew and loved her. God has a very special angel now and she is with Sissy again and know she is happy and no more pain. I will always remember Cora’s beautiful smile and laugh and I hope you as her family do too. Think of all the good she has done for EVERYONE and smile. 10. ONE OF MY MOST PRECIOUS MEMORIES OF CORA IS — SHE WAS SUCH A FAITHFUL WARRIOR FOR THE LORD. SHE WAS VERY GOOD FRIENDS WITH OUR FAMILY, ESPECIALLY MY MAMA MARY VITER. CORA FAITHFULLY WENT TO SEE HER ONCE A WEEK AND SOMETIMES MORE AT HALLMARK. THEY TALKED, PRAYED, CRIED, AND LAUGHED TOGETHER.GOD HAS A BEAUTIFUL ANGEL NOW. I ALSO REMEMBER HOW SHE CARED SO LOVINGLY FOR SISSY. MARSHA HEIMS
