Mr. V was one of Hap’s and mine favorite people. I am so glad I got to just see him on Jim & Lori’s last visit. He was such a treasure, hold onto your memories, they will help you through this. I’m sure Hap was there to welcome him home. Love you guys. Jo Happel
Charles was my neighbor for the past 20+ years. I always enjoyed talking to him and working with him on various neighborhood projects. My sincere condolences to his family.
Lori, I am so sorry to hear of your father’s passing. My sincere condolences.
I have great memories of Uncle Charlie. Visiting as a kid. I remember his slide shows where he would go through a 100 slides in like 3 minutes. He was always smiling and fun. I am sorry for your loss but glad he had a great life
Sincere wishes and prayers to you and your family Linda.

Your Dad loved our description of the three of you,
We shared so many wonderful times with your Mom and Dad. There were lots of laughs; great dinners; trips together; how good it all was. Now it is all gone…but never forgotten. We send you our deepest sympathy our prayers and our love.
My parents Wally Brown & Joan Elliott-Green used to play cards, canasta & bridge with Chuck & Joey several weekends a month. My sister, Cokie & I came over as well. We played outside, played board games & colored and watched TV while the adults were inside playing their games. We’d bring over some treats, appetizers to share. Sometimes it was like an inside picnic dinner before their card games. It was really interesting when your parents built a new home & lived in their home while finishing the inside if it. When we came over the 1st time to the new home the toilet hadn’t been installed yet & we had to use an out house for the facilities. That was rather rough the first time as it was rather cold out. It was so much better when the plumber installed the inside facilities!
All of us had great times either at their home or ours. I was the oldest & I think Cokie was similar age to Lori. After my parents got more busy with our kiddo activities, the card games went to about every 2 months or so. Both your parents were really great friends and I enjoyed them very much.
Wishing your remembered good times you spent with your dear dad Chuck or Charlie helps you through this difficult time. My thoughts, hugs and prayers go with you all.
