Catherine Anholt died in her home on September 18, 2018 from complications of cancer. In keeping with her wishes to keep things simple, no services will be held. Arrangements are with Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services.
She is survived by her husband, Maurice; children, Lucas Wear, Andrea (Will) Rhoades, and Skylar Anholt; grandchildren, Jason, Aiden, Gavin, Stella, Alexander, and Will who is due to arrive this month.
On September 29, 1959, Catherine Diane was born to Bennie and Carol (Crissman) Willie in Denver, Colorado. After graduating from Lake Forest Academy, she received her LPN certificate through St. Luke's School of nursing. Over the following 30 years, she worked as a nurse at St. Luke's and Mercy Hospitals, several nursing homes, and as a home health nurse.
Cathy married her love and fellow nurse, Maurice Anholt, in April of 1994. She loved literature, traveling, and her television programs. Cathy was particularly fond of gardening, especially her roses, and collecting antiques and blown glass balls.
Cathy was preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, Donovan Glanzer.
I loved this lady and will continue to love her. She was a great mom and nana to the boys. I will miss her dearly as I was close to her as she was a mother to me. You will be missed. RIP
