Caroline "Carrie" Baker, 66, of Cedar Rapids, died June 9, 2020, at her home. Funeral Services will be private. Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, is caring for Caroline and her family.
Survivors include her mother, Joanne Baker; and siblings, Thomas, Michael, and Christopher, and Margaret Baker.

My heartfelt condolences for the loss of your daughter, sister, friend. Carrie was a friend of mine, for nearly two years we corresponded, met, laughed, shared stories. We had not spoken for awhile, and when I reached out and could not find her, I looked on line, my heart is breaking. Such a powerful, lovely, smart, kind, playful woman. I will miss knowing we will never share again, yet I know she loved me, and this will remain always with me.
Carrie was my first real boss and mentor. She changed the way I saw the world and myself. My experience w her set me on a successful career path and molded my management style. She was also a close friend who I loved and who Cooper loved very much ❤
