Kris-
I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. Though we had our disagreements, I respected her for sticking to her guns and for her staunch dedication to her children. I know she will continue to guide you from above.
Peace,
Anita
Our sympathy in your loss. Carolyn was a very nice lady. She was a friend many years ago, when we all were involved in softball together. Whenever I would see her in these later years, she was very friendly. I admired how beautiful she kept her home (the family home). Thank you for taking care of her, Kris. May God give you all peace and comfort. Percy & Jim
Please accept our condolences on your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. We hope that comfort and peace come to you.

Jeff, Kris,
You have had your fill of heartbreak lately. Carolyn was an honest fun-loving person. She has always held a place in my heart. You could always count on something funny to come from her. Many, many great childhood memories. Ron and Roger were both such good matches for her humor and compassion. All will be remembered fondly and greatly missed.
Kris and the rest of the family, Carolyn always has made me feel like her nephew. Everytime i would see her she would make me feel like her own and share stories with me. Im sorry for your loss. Aunt Carolyn will be missed.

We knew Carolyn many years ago through softball in Cedar Rapids. I have not seen her in years but always enjoyed visiting with her at the ball park. Our sympathy goes out to her family.
So sorry for your loss… she was a great lady! She always told you what she thought -whether you wanted to hear it or not 🙂 I visited her often when she was in the hospital and she always made me laugh. Her and Roger were good together, please find comfort in knowing she is out of pain and they are together again. Also know that she loved you guys SO MUCH!!!
My deepest sympathy to all of you. Carolyn and I were good friends in grade school and junior high (at which time my family moved and we lost contact). I have many good memories: Sleepovers; Her mother made a lot of her clothes (as did my mother for me) but her poodle skirts and can-cans were by far the best ever; I used to give her a hard time whenever she brought up the fact about being 1/15th(?) Indian…LOL; Carolyn always knew everything she was receiving for Christmas! She would search the house from top to bottom, carefully unwrap her gifts and wrap them back up. She was relentless in her search if she suspected another hidden treasure. I’m sorry we lost touch….I think we could have still been good friends. May you all find peace and comfort in your loving memories of Carolyn.

My deepest sympathy in the loss of Carolyn, your mother, grandmother, sister. She was a close friend of mine in high school where we (fittingly) called her “Kitten”. The first slumber party I ever went to was at her house. She will be missed.

My dearest Mil,Thank you for being there in all those early years. You filled a void for me that my own mom was unable to. You gave gave us strength and support to our young family that is/was uncomproprmised. Your strength and spirit has always been inspirational. Your support and forgiving love will always be cherished. I am blessed that Kris came into my life, not just because we married and gave you grandchildren, but simply knowing you and your drive made me a better person. I am proud to have been your son-in-law! You shall ever remain one of the most important and influential person I have become to know. Thank you for allowing your family to touch and bless mine. Rest In Peace love you forever. Sil.
Jeff and family,
We are truly sorry to hear about your loss. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Dear Family,
Carolyn was a wonderful lady. She is the one who taught me how to do ebay and was a wonderful teacher. She always wanted her freinds to be successful at all of their endeavors. She and I shared in our compassion for animals and many times I received calls from Carolyn about trying to help a dog that was in need. I will miss those calls and her fun spirit. My deepest condolences to your family.
Carolyn’s Dad worked with my Dad at the Rock Island Railroad for years. Many times Dad would take us over to their house to see her Dad ” crack the bullwhip” and check out the garden. Carolyn & I had many fond memories of those days although she didn’t remember us. I worked with Carolyn many times in the Antique business. She was a wonderful person whom we all will miss.
I will miss my old friends so very much. Gone from my site but always in my heart.
