Sending prayers and love to Carol’s family. I was blessed know Carol as a true friend over the past couple of years. We made an immediate connection and enjoyed every moment and conversation we were lucky enough to share.
I will miss her but find comfort in knowing she will always be with me—and I know her favorite cat, Gabby was waiting to great her with purrs and snuggles. Thanks for being such a good friend, Carol. Love you! ❤️
I’m a friend of Carol’s. We were in Bible study together at Lovely Lane UMC for many years. Some of my fondest memories were of when I visited her at the care center though. She wanted to learn how to crochet as that was one of the things on her bucket list. Ok Carol – I will certainly try. We had such fun with that and I ended up staying most of the afternoon! Or the time she & Francis (her new roommate)were watching Heartland – a series on TV that Francis had downloaded on her I Pad and she was so excited about it! One of the staff at the care center would braid her bangs after her shower and they all seemed to just love her & she had to introduce me. She seemed to make the most of her situation and just loved people and she loved the Lord. I will so miss her and her friendship! God Bless and keep you Carol. I pray you are finally at peace and have no more pain!
Hugs

I can remember a day when we were both a lot younger and Carol and I were laying on the little grassy area between the lane and the orchard at Grandpa and Grandmas farm talking about how much we loved that farm and we made a pact that if Grandpa and Grandma ever moved her and I were going to live there and continue with the family dinners every Sunday and having the homemade ice cream with the family dinner. lol, well, we never got that dream turned into a reality but here’s hoping Grandpa and Grandma have a farm just like that one in Heaven. Polling all of my cousins, that in itself would make Heaven perfect , right?!
What a sweet memory! That would be the best!! Becky
I was so blessed to have had the opportunity to know and love Carol over the last couple of years. She was a special soul. I cannot count the amount of times Carol, Kay, and myself laughed so hard I was cry laughing. Every visit with her made my day better. Thank you, Carol, for being a friend. You will be so missed!
We were blessed to have you come into our lives Amy. I know Carol so looked forward to your visits as she did the other member of the “Golden Girls” ( Jackie). (I didn’t tho, you guys made me be “Sophia”, just kidding) You gals were always there for us, no matter when or for what reason you always went above and beyond for her and you made sure to help me understand things or to know what something was or why something needed to be done in a certain way, I learned so much from you. I’m not sure who it hit harder when you left, Carol and I both sat there and cried when she told me.
Carol is no longer in pain and she is looking down at you and Jackie blowing both of you kisses.
Love you tons my friend – Kay
I love you both!
Carol was a strong, loving, thoughtful friend. I had the privilege of being one of her pastors as well as her women’s Bible Study leader a number of years ago at Lovely Lane UMC. She always had thoughtful reflections on our lessons and was an attentive listener and encourager, and brought love and laughter into our midst. She was devoted to her family and friends and was always on the look out for learning/trying something new. In more recent years after I moved away, we had some deep phone discussions about God’s love and the meaning and beauties of everyday life even as her health diminished. I am grateful to have known her and will hold many warm memories of our friendship. I thank God our lives and stories intersected!
Sending comfort to her attentive and caring sister Kay during these days…
I worked with Carol at Cedar Graphics. She was so gifted. I was in awe of the things she created–the homemade soaps and lotions and what she knitted. And the amount of books she read! If I wanted to know if a book was good–I asked Carol. She also gave me books! I hope her family finds peace in good memories. Sincerely, Debbie Jump
