Our thoughts and prayers are with you all Love and hugs The Curcis
My sincere condolences to all of Bud’s family. Bud was a classmate of mine at Maquoketa High School. We rode the school bus together to attend high school. Bud also helped with planning several of our class reunions and was actually able to attend our 60th class reunion in 2019 since his son and wife were able to bring him. He enjoyed it so much and was so happy to be there. Bud enjoyed a very active life with Ragbrai, snow skiing, canoeing and walking. Bud will be missed by many friends and family. R.I.P. Bud
He looked forward to the 60th reunion, reminding me for 12 months that he wanted to go. My wife and I loved seeing his enjoyment and excitement that day. It was a very special day to him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
To the Wilcox family: Please accept my condolences on your loss. It is never easy losing someone you love. Hold on to those memories, continue to hear his voice and don’t ever stop talking to him. He is with you always. I hope that comfort and peace come to you. I know that he will truly be missed. Prayers for your hearts to heal. You are in my prayers and thoughts. May God bless all of you. I remember Bud, or as we called him Bud-man, from our biking days. We must have ridden thousands of miles together for about 20 years. This included RAGBRAI 11 times. He always spoke so fondly of his grandchildren, and was a really good friend to all of us. Sadly, when my physical abilities prevented me from biking, I lost contact with Bud. I am saddened by his passing, but I know he is now in a better place. May he rest in peace!! Bob Zander
We send you thoughts of comfort.
Dusty and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Sending you love and prayers.
Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss… Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
A loyal and positive friend. Fond memories of when our families were young and we played cards and board games. My sympathies go out to Scott, Laura, Dusty, Tommy and their families.
Sympathy to the Wilcox family! Bud holds a special place in Steve and I’s heart. If it weren’t for Bud we would have never met and now we will be married 30 years this month. Bud worked with Steve and invited him to a new singles group at their church. Steve started attending and the rest is history. That’s the short version, but yes, Bud was very special to us. We hope memories like this being shared bring you some comfort during these difficult days. With sympathy,
Our sincere sympathies to all of the Wilcox family. Bud and I went to High School together and since my maiden name begin with a W, we were often in the ‘last of the line’ waiting our turn. Bud was always so willing to help with our class reunions. He, another local classmate and I planned one of our reunions ‘long distance’ and since neither she nor I had any experience at that time with a computer, Bud did ALL of our printing for us. He was a great guy and thought so much of his family. Please accept our sympathies and keep the memories close. In Friendship, Joy Lyman
We live a couple doors up from Bud on Bever when we moved in to this home in 2000 and we got to know him and tonight we were thinking about him (07/28/23)because the power went out after the storms came through and I thought I’d look up and see what happened to Bud. Didn’t know he had passed, but we knew he was being taken care of a few years back. We had his ex-wife Judy at the doctors office for a few years there and got to know her and I think I went to school with some of the children we’re just thinking back tonight and now know that he’s at peace. They redid the house beautifully and there’s a wonderful couple and three dogs living in there and it’s still a Wilcox home to me. Like my house is really a Humbert house😉
