Buelane was my first nursing faculty mentor – how little did I know and how much have I learned. Buelane was a role model of life-long learning, wisdom, calmness, and authentic care and concern for public health. Buelane left an imprint in the education and work of many nursing faculty and students. I am grateful and blessed to have known and worked with Buelane. Rest in peace.
