  1. We are deeply sorry for your loss ~ Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services – Cedar Rapids

  2. Sonny was one of the most colorful people I have ever met. We would sit in the porch and he would tell me all about everybody in the neighborhood. He knew everyone, and most of them knew him. I loved sitting in the porch while he told me all about his life and the many stories and jobs that he had and the moments of his life that he wanted to share. I moved into the apartment below him 2 years and 2 months ago. He made me feel safe and he would always say when I was letting him go “You better lock them doors.” My dogs absolutely loved and adored him. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. He was a one a of a kind type of person. And he will be missed!
