William 'Bill' Allen Weeks, 77, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022. A Celebration of Life: 4:00 ' 7:00 pm Wednesday October 19, 2022 at the Squaw Creek/Wanatee Park, Red Cedar Lodge. Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services of Cedar Rapids is assisting the family.Bill is survived by his wife, Sandy; three children, Wendi Clark of Cedar Rapids, DeDe (Wally) Schiedecker of Bloomington, MN, Todd (Judy) Harmer of Palo; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; relatives and friends.William Allen was born on October 29, 1944, in Des Moines, Iowa. Bill's parents were William H. and Carol M. Jones Weeks. He married Sandra Harmer and the couple made their home in Cedar Rapids. Bill and Sandy were married for over forty years. Bill drove truck during his working life in several capacities. He retired driving from Forward Air. Bill loved cars. He was the proud owner of a 1937 Chevy Coupe. Bill belonged to the Cedar Valley Street Rods, Iowa Street Hot Rods, and was a member of the Eagles Club.William was preceded in death by his parents.A memorial fund has been established in Bill's name and may be directed to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha, and/or the donor's choice.
