Beverly Joan Martin Beasmore, 69 of Lisbon, died Monday, July 11, 2005, from injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident near Springville. Graveside services at Andre Cemetery rural Lisbon, 11:00 a.m. Saturday, by the Reverend Linda Stransky. Arrangements by Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices, Mount Vernon Chapel. Surviving Beverly are her husband Merle "Buck" at home, her children: Marcia Unruh of Mechanicsville, Steve Hansel of Center Point, Michael Parrott of Lisbon, Jon (Zoe) Parrott of Cedar Rapids; two grandsons: Mitchell Parrott and Michael Dudley; two sisters: Doris Hart of Lancaster, California and Betty Chesley of Marion. Also surviving are special in-laws Waneta and Barney Beasmore, Bud Beasmore all of Lisbon, and Wilma Jacobs of Cedar Rapids. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Helen Swanson, a brother Vernon "Red", a son-in-law Doug Unruh, and a niece Betty Kay. Beverly was born December 12, 1935, in Greeley, Iowa, the youngest child of Ezekel and Stella Blair Martin. She graduated from High School at Edgewood. Beverly married Merle "Buck" Beasmore in 1972 in the Little Brown Church at Nashua. She worked at Jack and Jill's grocery in Mount Vernon for many years, and retired after fifteen years from Rockwell International at Cedar Rapids. Beverly and Buck loved to camp and winter in Mesa, Arizona. She loved to cook, shop, and her dog Zeke.
