Betty Olga Cilek Striegel, 76, died Sunday, August 26, 2012 in her Lisbon home. Memorial services will be at a later date. Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices is assisting the family. Betty is survived by her husband Norman Eugene Striegel, three children; Paula Deason, Cedar Rapids, Bill Striegel, Fort Wayne, Indiana and Michael Stiegel, Lisbon, 13-grandchildren, 7-great grandchildren. Dear Gene, Bill, Paula and Michael, I was shocked to learn of Betty’s passing. I still can’t believe it. I remember the many hours we spent in your kitchen solving the world problems….and eating cookies! Betty was a pretty special lady and you all were so lucky to have her in your lives. She worried and fretted over you all so much, but she is at peace now and can rest. Always remember the many good things about Betty, she was so caring and loved her family so much.
