Betty lived life to the fullest. A remarkable lady! Thoughts are with Judy and Bob during this time. Jean and Larry
Betty will be missed at Gwen’s restaurant. She would come in every Saturday with her cousin, Pauline and she always looked so beautiful. She loved it when my family would come over and sing to her on her birthday or at Christmas time. Our sincere sympathy to Judy and Bob and know that we will never forget her lovely face. Anita Nost
I met Betty during the time I was helping her sister-in-law, Marj Meyer. The two of them entertained me by sharing their many memories and stories of their lives as part of the Meyer family. Betty’s smile could light up a room, and she was as beautiful on the inside as she was outwardly. I will miss Betty greatly. I send my deepest sympathy to her family.
I was saddened to read of Betty’s death. It always seemed to me that she enjoyed life to the fullest and that very few obstacles could stop her She was a well-loved member of Cornell’s admissions team (Judy continued Betty’s reign. My thoughts are with the family. Peace, Suki Cell
What a Gal! Betty was a fantastic neighbor, full of spirit, quick wit, and an eagle eye. She was a rib jabber, a super-cackler, and and an all-around great Friend. Of the many things I will remember, I think my favorite will be when we took our son Kai to meet her, and she held him and laughed. Oh! How many times had I heard that laugh? How she had likely held me at the same age, with my Mom looking on. That sparkle in her eye when she handed him back, that knowing look that only Betty could give when things were good. What a loss to our communities, that kind of joie de vivre! Rest in Peace, Betty. You were Loved. -Alexis Gallegos, Seattle, WA
What a wonderful neighbor. We were fortunate to live across the street from Betty for 25 years. She always was cheerful and appreciative or any help that we could give her. We reminded her of her visits earlier in life to Arizona. She will be greatly missed. Jim and Karen Steffen
