Becky Ann (Haley) Danly, 71, of Mechanicsville, Iowa, passed away, on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Visitation: 9-11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2024, Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Mount Vernon, Iowa. Celebration of Life: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Steve.
Becky Danly was born on August 16, 1952, in Sioux City, Iowa. The daughter of Wilbur and Eloise (Lamont) Haley. She was united in marriage to Steve Danly on November 28, 1970.
Becky worked for the Mechanicsville Bank, Merchants Bank, and retired from the Mechanicsville Telephone Company. She was a member of the Mechanicsville Presbyterian Church and was involved with the Presbyterian women, and Mechanicsville food pantry.
Becky is survived by her husband, children, Jennifer (Steve) Read, of Prairie City, Iowa, and Brian (Penny) Danly, of Vidalia, Georgia; grandchildren, Jocelyn Brandt, Alex Danly, Pyper Danly, and Meghan Williams; step-grandchildren, Kaiden Cueves, Zachary Read, and Blake Read; and sisters-in-law, Julie (Steve) Akers, and Becky Haley.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Robert Haley.

Becky was a giver and a doer. She always went the extra steps to make projects special because she cared. And boy was she fun to be with! She was all about family, church and friends and helping those in need. Thanks for all of the good times working & playing together! You will always have a special place in our hearts.
