Arlene Anne Pelley, 90, of Marion went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 8, 2018. Services are private. Arrangements are with Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Marion.
Survivors include children, Barbara (Collin) Aarhus, Arlo Pelley, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Beverly Pelley; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Arlene was born July 3, 1927, the daughter of Ira and Jennie (Ingles) Bissell. In 1949 she married her love, Arlo Pelley, Sr. with whom she raised her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Steve Pelley; and daughter, Arlette Pelley.

Boy, the memories I have. I’ve a lot to share with the family. I will miss her and her teasing. She knew me well as we were together so much during my childhood. Had my first real date when I turned 16 with the special fella picking me up at her house. Thanks, Aunt Arlene, for all the good memories.
Our condolences to the Pelley family. Arlo and Arlene were great neighbors. We will miss her annual Christmas card, she was a kind person, she made the world a better place. She made a great Cherry Cream Cheese cake. Thanks “Mert” for all your kindness.
