Anna Boerjan, 60, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016, in Cedar Rapids. Private Services have taken place. A full obituary will be available soon. Arrangements by Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Marion.
I was saddened to learn this evening that Anna had passed away. I met Anna back in the Fall of 2010 when I began country dancing at Wildwood in Iowa City. She will be greatly missed by the Wildwood family.
Ann you were so strong through it all. So sharing of every experience of life including illness. Always grasping everything, accepting and getting through it. So many times we laughed the night away at Wildwood. Sharing what was going on in each other’s life. As the years melted away we became close. I remember when you were pregnant with Micah then as a baby bringing him to the Eagles. And life moves forward from there to now. Micah you are the one. Ann is so proud of you! You now have her strength to carry on with life. God bless you and your siblings. I am betting all of you are in a small way like Annie. I called her that. The most petite strong willed woman I have ever known! With a shining beautiful smile-like an angel. From a line dance girlfriend/Chris West
Enjoy your dancing in heaven with both Steve(s) who now have a great dance partner. We will miss our gracious friend who shouldn’t have had to fight the good fight. RIP.
I met Anne about 6 years ago. I was a host at wildwood. Anne and I would stand there for hours talking a really getting to know each other. She was an amazing person. You will truly be missed. But I know that you are already up there dancing your little but off! Prayers to your children and they rest of your family. Godbless
To my best friend: I know you are dancing on streets of gold! Joe’s will be awesome just like we talked about. I love you.
