Ann worked for us at the Calico Barn so really became a good friend. She was a very talented lady
To Paula and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Words cannot describe. Ann and my mother were friends from way back when, and Paula, well you and I are forever sisters. I remember Ann from my childhood and had seen her several times throughout adulthood. My fondest memory is when I was learning to knit and I was getting frustrated and she said, “Don’t get mad, just use glue.” My mother about fell over. Ann was always full of life even in the hardest times. She was resilient and loved her children deeply. It was quite funny as a child that when either Ann or my mother, Patricia, said “Paula” there were two of us that would always answer 🙂 I am saddened by her death, but for sure she is an angel now, and definitely will be the best guardian angel of all. Paula and family, my thoughts, prayers, and love are with you all. Love, Paula Powers-Kounse
