Memory eternal Aunt Ange..love you
Laughing made me laugh
It is a scientific fact that laughter is contagious. I have been subjected to the sound of true laughter all my life by a woman that embodied celebration. Every festive Holy season through out the years, brought Aunt Angie to our home to celebrate the occasions. She often brought with her gifts for the home, which my parents still have several pieces of her craft and she would also bring delicate “International Cultural Homemade Pastries” “Angel wings” “Laced Cookies” all kinds of odd delicate morsels for our young eager palates, often sneaking extras before the meal(She also seemed to bring plenty because I think she knew “those Saba boy’s”). But what filled the room the most was this boisterous laughter that would stop any play and sneaking in all the other rooms. You just had to laugh when you heard it. In fact while writing this I started to laugh multiple times and lose my train of thought just thinking about her laughter. But it would make you laugh because if it made her laugh that much “It had to be funny” and I like “funny”. I can only laugh now, to think God, Himself, is sitting up there right now “Laughing it up” with Aunt Angie. Maybe that’s why He granted her many years with us to “share the laughter”. May God bless her and may He keep her memory Eternal. If there isn’t a Saint for laughter, I will think of this woman and laugh, that in itself is a miracle in itself…no joke!
Angie, Have missed you so much over the years. Many, many fond memories of my life long friend.
Love you always,
Bernadine
