Gene was one of a kind. Loved his sense of humor…..he was quite a tease and loved to laugh and was he ever a good dancer…..loved dancing with him. He always found something to laugh about and was easy to visit with and knew everyone, if he didn’t, he would ask.
Gene has left a place on a lot of hearts. He will be missed.
Rest in Peace, Gene.
With sympathy.

I used to live about a mile north of Gene on Adams and would pedal my bike down to his house to follow him as he did chores, learn, and hang out. I’ve seen and helped him herd his sheep even though his well trained collies did most the work. I distinctly remember Bobbing Lambs tails and taking a cargo pocket of 20 or more home to feed to my cats as a youngster! He was a wonderful Soul and a very merry sprit!
We would like to send our condolences to the family of Gene. Our prayers are with you at this time.
