We are deeply sorry for your loss ~ Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services – Cedar Rapids
I didn’t know Abby but possibly saw her a few times out playing at the apartment complex where my friend Ashley G and her family live.
I am so sorry for your loss. I do understand what it’s like losing a child. Nothing can ever ease the pain. Know that you and your family are not alone.
I am so sorry for your loss
With your laughter and smiles, you touched the world
With your cheers and pom-poms, you supported friends
With your many dance moves, music was groovy
With your friendship, you spread endless love
With your class & sass, your personality shined bright
For you dear angel, were one of a kind
Borrowed for a very short period of time,
To your family and friends, you touched so many hearts
Sweet Lil Miss Abby Rose we may never understand,
But we know you are dancing on streets of gold
In that beautiful mansion in the sky.
Until the day we shall meet again, we will thank Jesus
For his endless love, for allowing us this moment in time to celebrate, honor, and memorialize your life. We will ask him to comfort your loved ones hearts, to seek his guidance, and his strength in the days, weeks, months, and years.
Sweet Lil’ Miss Abby Rose we light this candle to honor and remember you.
Q: What will you never forget about Abby?
A: I will never forget her character. The way she loved so much, the way she feared nothing and her ability to always say what was on her mind at any given time. Abby and I had the most amazing relationship. I knew she loved me and she always knew I loved her. Abby loved going everywhere with me, she just never liked when it was time to leave. Abby was a beautiful soul who shined, she touched the lives of everyone she met. Forever my baby girl.
Nick and Lacie, my heart aches for you. Please know we love you and we are here for you!
Nick and Lacie, Thinking of you during this difficult time. Your YPN family
Thinking of you always. Your AK friend,
I had the opportunity to meet Abby years ago, & would run into her, her mom, & Dad at events such as “The Sweet Corn Festival, & WWE Live House Show Events. She always had a big smile on her face that would lit up the whole room, & was very polite to everyone. She would always wave at me & give me Hi-Fives. My heart just aches for the whole family, & my deepest condolences go out to the whole Shanahan family during this painful & difficult time. I’m so blessed to have the opportunity to meet & gotten to know Abby. Fly & Rest Easy. 🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊
My sweet Abby Rose, I love you so much. You were such a sweet little girl and very smart, you could be sassy at times but those memories bring a smile upon my face. I will cherish our time spent together, like when your mom and dad invited me along to the amusement park and we played all day together, going to the splash pad and swinging on the swings, going shopping for the essentials like candy and toys!
I will always remember you coming over to say “goodnight” to grandma and grandpa with your little knock and I asking “who is it?” through the door and you would answer in your sweet little voice “its Abby”, you would come in and tell them goodnight and then you would ask for a snack!
I wish I could hug you and play with your blonde hair, look at your beautiful face and tell you again how much I love you. You were a blessing from God and my faith will comfort me knowing you are in heaven and I will see you again.
You made me so proud. I loved being your Aunt. May you rest in heavenly peace, my sweet niece.
