Although I did not know Tom well, Ive always known for him to be great and respected. My deepest sympathy to his children, family, and his friends. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

To Family and Friends,
MY husband Rich and I, Our Prayers are with you all. I wish I could be take at the funeral but my surgery is at 8:00 a.m. Monday Dec 21 I hope the poster board I made for you all will be memories that will help you to think of all the good things your father,Brother,Son,Nephew,Friend will come to mind. Tom will a person that no matter what it was if he could help anyone he would do it from the time Tom and Kathy Halverson Mcdermott meet 1980-1981 not sure which year Tom was a trucker that love to drive his eighteen wheeler he love that job but stop trucking to be with Kathy and his family and friends to enjoy life of cooking was his favorite thing then fishing,camping,telling stories of his hometown Dubuque Iowa and his mother that he love very much the things him and his brother Bill did that he talked about all the time his love of his children and grandchildren keep Tom going til in the last couple of years Tom health become just to much for him I Help Tom get to a better Doctor that did all she could to help Tom I will miss Tom with our everyday phone calls to each other and the Joy I shared with Tom and kathy and when they had they children 4 boys 1 girl and when the children grow up Tom become a grandpa that was so specail to Ton 4 grand children and his love of his dog Bear and all of his friends and I want to thank all of Tom friends that guide Tom in this time of his life that was alway there for him no matter what it was thanks Tom love you all never forget that Tome is with us now and forever if you say one word Ton hear you He know when you are sad Tom want you to think of the good times not sad times we shared with Tom Tome is alway watching us all now and forever.
What ever you cross, What ever the pain these will always be sunshine after the rain.
Perhaps you may stumble perhap even fall But God alway ready to answer your call. He know every heartache see every tear a word from his lips can calm every fear you sorrow may linger though out the night but suddenly vanish by dawn’s early light The Savior is Waiting somewhere above to give you his grace and send you his love

If you share memories would you please read my that I just e-mail you because Tom wouldn’t want me to cancel my surgery because of my pain in my right tolltater cup a rip and a bome spur I have so please remember am thinking of you all and I know my husband is very upset over this funeral being the same day but we understand how things happen so my Prayers are with you all
