Thomas 'Tom' Andrew Wolfe, 28, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, March 14, 2013. Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. Christopher Podhajsky. Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial: Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. The family encourages casual dress ' rock the plaid shorts and mid-calf socks. Survivors include his parents, Damon and Peggy Wolfe of Newhall, Iowa; daughter, Lillian Justine; grandmother, Kathleen Wolfe of Newhall; sisters, Caitlin Wolfe of Mesa, Arizona, and Cassandra (David) Lusk of Cedar Rapids; nieces, Nevaeh and Ireland; uncles, Greg (Carmen) Fratzke, David Wolfe, John (Judy) Fratzke, Ronnie Fratzke, Richard (Kris) Fratzke, and Tom (Nancy) Fratzke; an aunt, Mary Fratzke; and many cousins Tom was born September 25, 1984, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Damon and Peggy (Fratzke) Wolfe. He served in the U.S. Navy. Tom had a great work ethic and was currently working as a line cook for Texas Roadhouse in Cedar Rapids. He enjoyed rock music, fishing, solo traveling, and was a top gamer. Tom will be remembered for his great smile and his expressive sense of style. He took great pride in his appearance and was always loving and full of life. Tom's true love was for his daughter, Lillian. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leroy David Wolfe, and Ronald and Bertha Fratzke; brother, Adam Robert; and infant brother, Samuel Matthias.

  2. I met Tom through Texas Roadhouse several months ago. Although I did not have an opportunity to get to know him better, I knew him well enough to know how bright and friendly he was, and I’m glad to have had the opportunity to work beside him. He was a hard worker but always had a smile. Tom was a good man, and he will be missed. My thoughts go out to his friends, his family, and his daughter. We will miss you Tom.

Tom was ban amazing uncleand brother there’s never a dull moment that incant think I had shared with him he always madenubsmile or laugh even if u was down and out or if he was upset sometimes u could make him laugh I remember many times me and him would talk a lot if we would have problems and we could always help beach other out and make each other feel better. If itbwas not forbterry being friends with Cassie and tom and for David and Cassie getting married I wouldn’t have met an amazing person with a spunky personality tom will be missed by many but his memories will live on in everyone hearts that he had touched I’m glad I got to met tlhim and had a brother like him in my life we love and miss u tom always in our hearts memories mind and soul until we met again at the other aide of the cross roads

  4. I met u at the drive thru at Wendys when my son Jay was working there with you. You ALWAYS had a huge ass smile on your face when you saw me n the kids at the drive thru, the last time being late last week. I wish you could have talked to someone instead of thinking you had no where to turn. Your daughter now has her own personal guardian angel to watch over her. Prayers going out to your family and friends. RIP until the day we meet again.

    Tom was a great person, many memories I will hold with him. He always had a smile on his face, which always brought a smile to my face. He will truely be missed and forever loved by all.

  9. I worked at Culver’s with Thomas. He was always so funny and made us laugh. I do remember him rockin’ the tube sox with the shorts very well 🙂 R.I.P Thomas! Thoughts and prayers to your family and friends.
