Warren, I am very sorry to hear (just yesterday via the Sun) about Suzanne’s death. The word that comes to my mind to describe Suzanne is “genuine.” She was always very friendly to everyone and energetic, too, with a smile for all. Please accept my condolences; her passing came way too soon. Sara Gaarde, Mount Vernon
Firstly, my heart goes out to Warren and all the rest of Suzanne’s family and friends. As kids, I spent lots of time on the southside of MV, at my cousins’ house and other friends. Suzie and Barry were always where the crowd was. Never a harsh word between us. Also, I thanked Suzanne for her directives to a sister of mine that I never knew I had. I was 51 yrs old at the time. May Suzie RIP and know lots of people will miss just knowing she was a Mt. Vernon fixture.
Warren, Carmen & Family – My heart was, and still is, heavy when I heard about Suzanne’s passing the other day. The world is a much better place because she touched so many lives in many beautiful ways. Her big, cheesy smile warmed the heart of anyone in her path. Suzanne’s friendly demeanor made everyone feel welcome. My wish is that you will find comfort in knowing others deeply care and love you. I pray that time will heal as you continue to celebrate her life. Take care and God bless each of you…. Beth
I was sorry to hear of Suzanne’s passing. My best memory of her was when she and my mom Monica played cards all the time. May your memories bring you peace during this difficult time.
So sorry to have lost one of the”fixtures” around Mt.Vernon. We always would see Suzy out and about at Sutliff or on Main Street and she was always smiling. Sorry for your loss, Mary an dKevin Woods
