Sandi Dennis

Sandi Dennis, 64, of Mount Vernon, went to be with her Lord and Savior. Tuesday May 30, 2006, at St. Luke's Hospital from a short illness. A Celebration of Life for Sandi will be 7:00 p.m., Friday at Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices Mount Vernon Chapel where the family will greet friends from 4:00 until service time in the funeral home. Private family burial at a later date. Surviving Sandi are her husband, Darrel of Mount Vernon, two daughters: Cindy (Bob) Gosney of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Sara (Kirk) Schroeder of Cedar Rapids; a brother Roger (Karen) Martin of Mount Vernon; a sister Sue Votroubek of Tiffin; her father and mother Roy and Pearl Martin of Mount Vernon; and five grandchildren. Preceding her in death was a brother Ron W. Martin. Sandi was born January 13, 1942 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Roy and Pearl Whitlatch Martin. She lived her whole life in the Mount Vernon area where she was a homemaker. Sandi loved people and showered them with greeting cards for every occasion. Sandi's family was the joy of her life. She lived a faith filled life. Her smiles and laughter will never be forgotten. A memorial fund in Sandi's honor has been established.
