Please except our deepest sympathy on the unexpected passing of Ron.
Kathy Beck emailed us of Ron’s passing and we were shocked to hear the news. Even before he joined us at the Antique Mall, we knew him as a fellow collector at the 3rd Ave. substation. When you left for the south, he was so worried about carrying his load and having enough days built up and we teased him about how we would be gone to the Czech Republic and it wouldn’t matter. We plan to come back for a visit the end of May and we were looking forward to swapping stories of “retired life.” He will be greatly missed by so many because he touched so many lives. Although we are an ocean away Marilyn, please let us know if we can help. Pam and Ken Lewis
Dear Marilyn & family: Kay and I were sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. I can well remember you being neighbors of Dad’s and seeing and speaking with you and Ron when we visited home. In fact, I mentioned to Kay that I can recall when you and Ron were dating, that probably surprises you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Regards, Jim & Kay Butler
Dear Marilyn and family, We were shocked and saddened to read of Ron’s death. We have fond memories of the Skow family when we lived in Lisbon in the late 50’s – I as a teacher and Hank as a U of I student. Our son, Allen, was ringbearer at your wedding which was quite an experience for a shy little 3 year old. Delores was Allen’s babysitter. Please accept our sincere sympathy. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Hank and Karen Biere
