Paul's gentle smile, humble way, and presence will long be remembered by those whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James. The family would like to thank the Mechanicsville Care Center and Care Initiatives Hospice for the love, support, and care they extended to Paul. 5. I worked with Paul at care initiatives in a one on one setting for almost half a year. I have never met someone who so greatly exemplified the profound ability to live life with the glass half full. Paul was an incredible man and taught me so much about life without even trying. He was so fun loving and such an introspective person. He was always able to just go with the flow, go with whatever life threw his way. We loved watching the tv show “Castle” together and talking about anything tractor related. I am incredibly saddened by his passing and my thoughts are with Paul’s family, Betty in particular, whom I was fortunate enough to meet on multiple occasions. Rest in peace Paul – you will always mean so much to me

  6. To the Kohout family, please accept our deepest sympathy. We have scattered with grandkid activities once our children graduated from Lisbon. It is always great to see you at random events and catch up. I am sorry I just learned of Paul’s passing. May he rest in peace.

  7. We appreciate getting to know Paul & crew, 15 yrs. His love for the land, farming & stories; lemon bars & ice cream will be great reminders of him.
